Most Pomodoro timers make you sign up before you focus, then upsell a premium tier. Pomodorian skips both steps: you land on the page, the timer is already there, you press START. It adds a task list, focus sounds, and an AI assist that turns a vague to-do into a planned session. It refuses to charge you, to show ads, and to move your data off your machine.

Intentional Writing protects a session instead of policing you: you formulate an intention, pick 25 or 50 minutes, choose which apps to set aside, then sign inside the seal to begin. You write on a sober typographic page with continuous local saving; research stays available, but it returns sources only, never a generated answer. It refuses scores, badges, streaks and accounts: everything stays on your computer.
